La Veladora
Open-air dining just up the valley at Casa Fernanda. Mexican cooking on local ingredients with a Baja note, contemporary-rustic under the trees, candlelit and unhurried once the light goes.

Amomoxtli takes its name from the Nahuatl word for a sacred book or manuscript, the region's first high-end boutique hotel and one the MICHELIN Guide singles out with a Key, its mark of a genuinely special stay. It was built in the Valle de Atongo just outside the historic center of Tepoztlán, where a 200-year-old stone bridge, once the only crossing in the valley, still stands on the property. The whole place sits under the cliffs of the El Tepozteco range, in a town long held to be one of Mexico's most charged with energy.
Thirty-four suites, a villa with a bar and library at its heart, gardens of ahuehuete and amate trees, a heated pool with two whirlpools facing the mountain, the Mesa de Origen kitchen cooking only what Morelos grows, and a spa built around temazcal and ancestral healing. For four nights, Wndrlust takes the whole estate.
A curated group, a One MICHELIN Key estate to yourselves, and the pueblo mágico of Tepoztlán at the gate.
Four tables for the group: candlelit dining at La Veladora, a farm lunch in the huerto at Parcela, botanical cocktails in the Margarita garden, and Mesa de Origen, the estate's own kitchen.
Open-air dining just up the valley at Casa Fernanda. Mexican cooking on local ingredients with a Baja note, contemporary-rustic under the trees, candlelit and unhurried once the light goes.
Lunch where it grows. A guided walk through the huerto, then a farm-to-table table set among the rows, everything seasonal and picked the same morning.
An evening out in the planting. Botanical cocktails and sacred tonics, then a private dinner among the garden, the group with a green room of its own under the sky.
The kitchen at the heart of the house. Regional Mexican cooking on local, seasonal produce, the daily table where the group gathers for breakfast and long, unhurried dinners.
For four nights the whole of Amomoxtli is ours alone, every suite, every pool, every table. Here's the estate in motion, the way it moves when the run of the place is yours. Tap any to play.
Down-filled duvets, 350-thread cotton, and local elements set the tone for rest. Seven categories across the estate, from the Premium suites to the Cottage.
What fills the hours between the table and the bed: water, wellness, wandering, art, and the slow practice of doing very little.
The long, unhurried middle of the day. The heated pool and its two whirlpools under the Tepozteco, a drink from the pool bar, and an afternoon that asks nothing of you.
Treatments and rituals in cabins set beside the stream, warm clay walls and copal. Massages, the temazcal sweat-lodge ceremony, energetic cleanses, and the teachings of local healers.
A live session in the garden: an open, off-the-record conversation, questions from the group.
A guided walk through DILAO, an open-air sculpture park where contemporary art, landscape and the valley blur into one.
Into the pueblo mágico on foot: the market, the artisan stalls, the street snacks and the shops worth getting lost in. A town to wander without a plan.
The Ex-Convento de la Natividad, Tepoztlán's 16th-century Dominican monastery and a UNESCO-listed landmark above the town.
Mornings open with movement: vinyasa, hatha, or meditation in the Mandala hall or the garden, the Tepozteco waking up around you.
The nights the group throws for itself: a Welcome Fiesta with mariachi and tequila, and a Frida Flower farewell with flower crowns and a DJ until close.
A welcome party, a live Q&A in the garden, and a flower-crowned farewell.
The first night, and a big Mexican fiesta to welcome the group. Everyone bonds over tequila, a live mariachi band, and a long dinner.
A live, off-the-record celebration. The floor opens for an honest conversation, your questions answered, and plenty of candid stories.
One last night together. The group takes over the Margarita Concept Garden, a costume closet of flower crowns and hair accessories to play dress-up, a DJ, and dancing.
